Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, who were in Delhi to be part of the Bullett Raja bike rally for the Election Commission’s voter awareness campaign, got angry at a press conference when the media started shouting at them for arriving three hours late.
Saif said, “Meri galti hoti toh main zarur sorry bolta. Hum do ghante se traffic mein ghoom rahe the.” The media continued shouting ‘go back’, to which Saif lost his cool and said, “Humne dusri badi galti ki hai yahan aa kar. Humein nahi aana chahiye. Agli baar nahi aaunga. Hum Mumbai se hi interviews de diya karenge.“
He later tried to resolve the situation, saying, “Hum log koshish kar rahe hain, pyaar se phir se start karte hain. I say sorry.”
The camera persons then started jostling among themselves to take pictures. At this, Saif along with Sonakshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia walked out of the press conference.
Shamim Akhtar, additional district magistrate, North district, said, “Media ne pura bekar kar diya. Ab dubara press conference. This was the first time so many bikers came together for a cause like this.”
The rally began without the Bullett Raja star cast.
